I began my professional career in the mid-1990s as a magazine writer and editor. For six years, I wrote feature articles, news columns and website articles for National Real Estate Investor and Site Selection magazines. NREI was the leading publication covering the commercial real estate business in the United States, and Site Selection is the most widely read publication serving the world of corporate expansion and economic development strategy.
In 2002, I moved from the publishing industry to Corporate America. For more than 18 years now, I have grown up through the ranks of various marketing communication roles serving a variety of industries, including electric utilities, economic development, medical malpractice insurance, higher education and research, commercial real estate, nonprofits, healthcare, and healthcare IT.
I’m happy to say that I’ve never had a job where I didn’t learn something new, and this has expanded my expertise across the entire spectrum of marketing and communications.
